“God’s promise of freedom”

In Galatians chapter three, verses 21 and 22, Paul writes, “Is there a conflict, then, between God’s law and God’s promises? Absolutely not! If the law could give us new life, we could be made right with God by obeying it. But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.”

This passage is another example of Paul trying to smooth out dissent between members of the early churches with regard to whether Mosaic law should be followed in all their daily affairs. Paul asserts repeatedly in his letters that God sent Jesus Christ to earth to show us that the path to Salvation of our souls lies not in following religious ritual, but in forming a personal relationship with Jesus by repenting of our transgressions against self and others, and asking Christ for forgiveness.

When we do this, we do it because we believe in Christ as the son of God and we believe that God vested in him authority to forgive us of sin and purify our souls. When I interacted with Christ as the consciousness of the sun while using a legal substance over a few years, I experienced Christ as a being of beautiful radiant light that surrounded me in a feeling of unconditional love and tranquility that I had never felt before in my life.

I saw him purify my soul by raising his golden and and waving it over my soul, washing over my soul with the radiant golden light he seemed to be made of. When this happened, I saw my soul cleansed and purified of the dark places that sin had left in it. I understood, finally, the definition of Salvation that I had grown up hearing about in church. I understood that only Christ and God can do this for us, and that if we accept the Salvation they offer us and form a personal relationship of submission to them as our spiritual authorities, living a life of obedience to their teachings in the Bible, that we can be spared from falling into the hell realms and we can ascend to heaven upon our deaths.

Christ incarnated here and lived a life of austerity and died a death of incredible suffering in order to bring us this message. He was willing to suffer so greatly for us because of a love so boundless that human beings can’t comprehend it. I hope that all human beings will accept his offer of Salvation so that we can all join his flock in heaven, and not one soul will be lost.
