“The Harvest is great, but the workers are few”

In Matthew chapter 9, verses 35 through 38, we are told, “Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; as him to send more workers into his fields.'”

Jesus makes it clear in these verses that he needs all of us to share our testimony of him with others in whatever way that we can. He wants us to live our lives as a testament to the joy and love that being connected with him gives us, so that we will be a beacon of light to others, showing them what living a life of obedience to his teachings can bring into their lives.

When I interacted with Christ as the consciousness of the Sun while using a legal substance over a few years, I was over-awed at the joy and peace and warmth and love that he allowed me to feel. I had never felt anything like that before in my life, and I was allowed to feel his presence surrounding me many times over the period of time I was using this substance. These interactions were very consistent and changed my life completely. Christ confirmed for me the actual event of the crucifixion, the existence of hell, the potential for a rapture and tribulations in the future, and other aspects of the Biblical teachings that I had learned in childhood.

He showed me that I had been a deplorable human being in a former life, and that he  had forgiven me and purified my soul. He made it clear what having him in my life would allow me to experience, if I were to commit my life to him and follow his teachings as laid out in the Bible. These experiences were of a purity that doesn’t exist in this realm, and allowed me to experience the sacredness of the spiritual world that he and God inhabit.

He also made it clear that many people’s souls fall into the hell realms upon death, and that some flee there because they are so ashamed and remorseful of their actions in their former existence. He wants all of us to share our testimony of his love and forgiveness of us if we repent of our transgressions against ourselves and others and ask him to forgive us, and begin to live lives of submission to the spiritual authority he and God have. This means obedience to his teachings of love for God and others, and service to the less fortunate. We need to remember that we may be the only Bible that other people ever see, and allow him to change us and move us away from habits and behaviors that darken our soul and toward more righteous behaviors that will allow us to join him and God in the Heavenly realms.
