“The strength of my heart”

Psalm 73, verses  21 through 26, reads, “Then I realized my heart was bitter, and I was all torn up inside. I was so foolish and ignorant–I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you. Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.”

These line are so beautiful. I can really relate to how the author feels; I sometimes wonder how God must have seen me in the time before I came back to him and Christ after interacting with them while using a legal substance over a few years.

I was a secular, agnostic person who was very blasphemous about religion. I didn’t go as far as being an atheist but I was searching for the truth and had no idea what to believe. I was extremely irreverent toward matters of religion and didn’t have respect for faith or belief.

That all changed when I had my interactions with Christ as the consciousness of the Sun. I knew that many writers had linked Christ with the Sun but I had also read many writers who believed all of these matters were based in mythology, which they attributed to fallacy.

But when I interacted with the presence of Christ and was surrounded in his overwhelming love, this answered for me the question of whether he existed or not. I interacted with God many times as well, and I found him to have the same quality of intense unconditional love for all beings.

I recommitted my life to Christ and God, and they came into my life and began to guide my path. I found that they deeply care about all of us and the journey that our souls take in this world; they want us to love others and not hurt them, and they do our best, once we have accepted Salvation through Christ’s forgiveness once we repent of our transgressions, to guide us in the direction of spiritual purity. God really is our strength, once we belong to him, just like these beautiful verses express.
