In Luke 20, Jesus was asked by some religious authorities about Mosaic law concerning divorce. Instead of directly addressing the problematic situation they had posed to him for an answer, he tells them in verses 34 through 36, “Marriage is for people here on earth. But in the age to come, those worthy of being raised from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage. And they will never die again. In this respect they will be like angels. They are children of God and children of the resurrection.”
These are beautiful verses and Jesus takes this opportunity to remind these religious leaders that life on earth is very fleeting and that we should concern ourselves with matters of the soul, not the intricacies of human law.
When I interacted with God and Jesus using a legal substance over a few years, I was given many experiences that seemed to validate the notion of reincarnation. I had one very long past-life regression through closed-eye visualizations that showed me that I had been a very immoral and destructive person in a recent past life. I have also had several other past-life regressions in which I I was shown that I had had difficulties of one form or another.
I sometimes wonder if Salvation through Christ means that we may cease to have to reincarnate, but I don’t know one way or the other if this is true. I know Christ incarnated here to teach us to submit to his spiritual authority so that we could be guided home to the heavenly realms upon our death. Because of our carnal nature, humans have a very hard time staying in the straight and narrow, and God and Christ knew that we needed spiritual help and guidance.
Christ came here and took a life of suffering followed by his resurrection to show us that he is truly the Son of God, and that he has the ability to heal our souls by divine forgiveness of our transgressions. He truly is our Savior and our good shepherd, and he doesn’t want to lose a single one of his sheep to malevolent spiritual beings that dwell in the hell realms and exploit and torment the souls that end up there.
I hope that everyone will accept the Salvation of our souls that Christ offers to us, and will repent of their sins and ask his forgiveness, and begin a life of obedience to Christ’s teachings. He and God only want to bring us back to our heavenly home upon our deaths; several time God has referred to heaven as ‘home’ when I interacted with him. This moved me so deeply, and I understand now just how much God and Christ do not want any soul to be lost or separated from them for any length of time at all.
