“Faith”

In Luke 17, verse 6, Jesus tells us, “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you!”

This is a very striking verse from Jesus on faith, and it is something that is worth a lot of contemplation. I don’t know if my faith will ever be strong enough to accomplish such a feat, but this verse definitely gives me incentive to pray for my faith in God and Christ to keep increasing.

God and Jesus have really put me through some changes lately, and every time I go through difficulties like this and come out the other side I can see just how things are working according to God’s plan, and I also realize that Jesus has been with me the entire time, right beside me guiding me along.

When I am in the midst of things, however, sometimes I lose sight of this, and I struggle and rebel and resist the changes in my life. Once I make it to the other side and see God’s miracles, though, I begin to realize just how much they love me, and how they are working in my life to bring me into their light and love more and more every day.
